Anyone who has owned an old house for any length of time knows not all contractors are created equal. Those who say they are sensitive to old houses and "can do the job" all too often turn out to be "clue disabled". Here is a listing of people tested by your friends and neighbors and come highly recommended. While there are no guarantees, it IS safer than letting your fingers do the walking and taking "potluck".
